Lord of the Flies!

Well, the time has finally arrived. The Drosophila flies have begun to procreate and soon all sorts of reciprical crosses will begin. This of course is a genetics experiment I'm doing for a class and I've found it actualy is sort of interesting right now.

Skydiving!

Well, my next adventure it looks like is jumping out of a plane from 13,000 ft. I have assembled a "crew" to join me on this expedition and our "drop" date is Feb. 26.

As to why, I must say part of who I am is a guy who really enjoys activities that scare him a little. What's life without facing your fears? However, I don't want these adrenaline rushing activities to become a drug in my life. My hope is that as we go do this adventure, Christ alone will be glorified, and that despite all the fun we will have, I'll find my satisfaction in Him alone.

Anyway, I guess I'll report back about it once my feet are back on the ground.
